School Background

Buriram Inter School (BRIS) was established in the academic year 2020 (B.E. 2563) by six founders: Pharmacist Nantita Siriwattalerd, Ms. Nida Suwansri, Ms. Jidranuch Tembandit, Ms. Pitchsinee Thongthamsiri, Ms. Piyathida Chaiprasitkul, and Mr. Puntri Apivattanawong.

All six founders were parents seeking quality early childhood education (Nursery level) for their young children. However, they found that existing schools did not fully meet their expectations. They decided to create a school that would align with their educational vision and values, leading to the establishment of a Nursery school located at 444/8 Moo 15, Isan Sub-district, Mueang Buriram District, Buriram Province, within the Chang Arena area.

At the beginning, the six founders jointly planned and managed the school, which was initially named BRAIN SCHOOL BURIRAM, founded in 2016.

As their children grew and were ready to enter Grade 1 in the academic year 2021, they applied for a license to expand the school to include the Primary level, under the new name Buriram Inter School (BRIS) offering an English Program curriculum accredited by the Ministry of Education.

In 2022, the school expanded to include Grades 1–5, and in 2023, it further extended to Grades 1–6.

Later, in the academic year 2025, Buriram Inter School introduced the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC), officially recognized by Oxford University Press, to enhance its international education standards.

School Emblem

The emblem of Buriram Inter School (BRIS) features the English initials “BRIS” placed over two golden olive branches extending to the left and right.
The olive branches rest upon a trophy cup that has blue and white vertical stripes with a white rim and a silver-white background.

At the top of the trophy sits the blue Phanom Rung Castle, outlined in white. Above the castle is a blue flag bearing the white letters “BRIS”, waving gracefully to the right.

On each side of the castle are two green shrubs, representing growth and harmony.
Below the trophy is a blue ribbon with a white border, inscribed with the school’s name “BURIRAM INTER SCHOOL” in two lines, the upper line reads “BURIRAM INTER” and the lower line reads “SCHOOL.”
